cs summer research information session

There will be a CS Summer Research Information session on Wednesday January 26th at 4pm in the CS Lab (room 240 Sci. Center).

The CS faculty will briefly describe their research projects, and will provide some information about applying for summer stipend money. Student applications are due on Feb. 14 and students must have a faculty sponsor.

If you are interested in working on a summer research project with one of the CS faculty, we encourage you to attend this session. You should then contact the faculty member to discuss the possibility of your working with them.

Typically, our summer research students are currently juniors who are majors or minors in CS. Positions may also be available for students who are currently freshmen or sophomores. Students who will graduate this year are not eligible to apply, but are still welcome to attend the meeting.
