This is the final project to my Parallel and Distributed Systems class. My partner, Joon Sung Park, and I attempted to create a new form of dealing with hash collisions in a Hash Table, and it's effective distribution accross nodes.

Artificial Nueral Nets for Face Detection

For my Artificial Intelligence class, we learned about artificial neural nets and how powerful this form of machine learning is. For our final project, my partner, Rita Zevallos, and I sought to use these ANNs for face detection of small color photos.

Ray Tracing Complex Objects Using Octrees

In my graphics class we implemented a ray tracer in C++. In our final project, my partner Jsoh Wolper, and I implemented an octree data structure which is essentially a 3-dimensional binary search tree in order to speed up the rendering of objects with a high number of polygons.
