Charles Kelemen -- ACM Distinguished Educator

Charles Kelemen has been named an ACM Distinguished Educator.

This is a very prestigious award from the top professional organization in computer science: ACM Distinguished Member Awards are awarded to only up to 10% of ACM members with at least 15 years of professional experience and who have "significant accomplishments or impact in the computing field as an educator, engineer or scientist."

The ACM Distinguished Educators award is in recognition of Charles' leadership and contributions in the field of Computer Science Education. Among other accomplishments, Charles played a pivotal role in formulating a Computer Science curriculum specifically for liberal arts institutions. Our department is highly regarded in the field of CS Education because of Charles' work and leadership.
