Week 7: Journal Questions

 Answer the following question for Monday's reading problems with Classical AI (Pfeifer and Scheier Chapter 3)

  1. Classical AI's approach to problem solving is to create a symbolic description of the key elements of a problem, and to then use search to find a solution. The method of solving the Water Pitcher problem (lab 0) is an early example of this approach. Describe at least two issues with this approach when applied to more real-world problems.
