GRADING:
- 30% Homework and Programs
- 10% Take home midterm test
- 10% In class midterm test
- 20% Final paper and project
- 25% Comprehensive Final Exam scheduled by the
registrar on:
May 14 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, Room TBA.
This is a required part of the course. Mark
your calendars and make sure to attend.
- 5% other (my evaluation of how well you know the material,
your contributions to the course, trends, etc.)
PROJECTS: The final project will be completed by teams of 2 or 3.
It will involve writing a program and a paper describing the problem,
design decisions, and analyzing your program and some alternative
data structures and algorithms you might have used.
I will assign a problem.
Student originated problems may be approved if they seem appropriate.
